"My safe haven" Neerpelt by glenn0809

Ok this is quite strange to write a review about my experiences in Neerpelt. I was, above all, born here. That being my primary experience. Ever since that day I've lived in the same house for almost 18 years now.

Not really a gang of course. Just 3 kids living in the same street. We were all 3 the same age. When summer vacation was there we would spend every day outside, together. We had this little forest where we loved to go to. Untill one day someone decided to build a house on top of it. Progress isn't everything, believe me. The group kinda broke up when we all went to high school. I see them every day but we never speak each other again. It is strange how those things can go.

These actually started quite late, compared to everyone else around here. When I was 16 I went to my first bar with friends. Around 17 nightclub(s) Neerpelt only has one. I might write a review on that one as well soon. But I already wrote a minor nightlife article ich will suffice for the time being.

• Pros:A natural love for the place, friendly people, very green
• Cons:There is this one bad neighbourhood
• In a nutshell:I wouldn't feel anywhere as much at home as here.
