Visited "Lost Wages" first time in 1966 and stayed at the now blownup Dunes. Again in 1977, 1978, 1979, 1987,1992, 1998 and 2001. Stayed at Excalibar (which is owned I believe by Circus/Circus. It was a great place because the ceilings are high and you don't feel like the dark ceiling is going to fall down like in other casinos. Bus trip In 1998 I stayed in a downtown Fremont Street Hotel. I took the daytime city bus from there to see the Luxor.(NY deli there good). Flew to Las Vegas in May 2001 with 40 yr. old son. Stayed at Marriot Courtyard Hotel. Very nice. Son was invited to dinner by an owner of Binion's Horseshoe. Never got the free dinners but we left about $300.?? tip at Blackjack Tables.
