San Francisco - I couldnt believe it, we were actually visiting this place that you see on the tv and films. The 'Streets of San Francisco' where Michael Douglas and Karl Malden chased after the baddies and now here we were to experience this magical place for ourselves.
We landed in the evening, it was dark, we picked up the hire car, and drove (me navigating and not missing our way once) to the hotel. I still didnt believe we were in San Francisco though! |
|  | Take a ride on the cable car as some of those hills are really steep. We walked up and down a few and I was exhausted. |
| | I also thought of Steve McQueen in the film 'Bullet' when I saw these hilly streets reminding me of the car chase he had up and down them. So many films have been shot here unfortunately we didnt see any being film while we were there. |

My grandfather lived in down town San Francisco and had a bar near the Fisherman's Wharf until he retired. I loved it in that area. Nice pages you have. |
