Carmel is a beautiful little village nestling between Pebble Beach Golf Club to the north and the spectacular Big Sur coast to the South.
Named after Carmelite Friars who arrived here with Spanish settlers.
Situated on the Bay of Carmel it has a wonderful white sandy beach, where you can sit and relax in the sun and watch the seas waves as they lap the shore.
Our time in Carmel was very limited and I only wish we had had more time to explore. What I can say is that what we saw was wonderful and I am certainly glad that we did visit. |
