Getting TO/AROUND: San Francisco's transport is called Muni (Municipal Transit Agency) this combines the buses and cable cars. The cable car is definitely a must. There are about 3 different routes, and the scenery as you get to the top of the hill and see the bay in front of you is magical. The cable car we seemed to use the most ran from Market Street to the Wharf and at either end there was always big queues. In fact we waited over an hour in the Wharf area to get the cable car back to Market Street and the Bay area can get really chilly, and this was in August!
