Restaurant Name: TGI Friday's
Monterey - Down on the wharf, we went into a TGI Friday's. We do have them in England but had never been in one before. The views were lovely, and the staff great. There was one thing I did want to add, and that was that I had a glass of, I think its called micro beer, and it was awful. A bit like muddy water!
Favorite Dish: I cant remember exactly what I had but it came on a skillet and all I remember was that it was lovely. In fact we enjoyed the meal so much that on our return home, we went in a TGI Friday's a few miles away from where we live and the meal was not good at all!

Restaurant Name: Hogs Breath Inn
Well we just had to try the Hogs Breath which at the time was owned by Clint Eastwood (dont think he owns it anymore). I must say that I thought it would be quite expensive but surprisingly it wasnt. You could either sit inside the restaurant on there was also a garden dining area. We sat in the garden area. Well worth a visit.
Favorite Dish: I had a BLT, which was huge and gorgeous.

Restaurant Name: Applebees
This was our very first visit to an Applebees restaurant, and we really liked it. The menu is quite good, and having a son who would live on burgers or chicken there were at least a few choices on the menu to suit his taste. The food was good, as was the service. My faviourite drink was a 'Summer Squeeze' with a Vodka base (not that I usually drink Vodka!) and kiwi fruit with crushed ice! Since this first visit to Applebees, we have been in them in Florida, Washington DC and New York (although the NYC restaurant seemed more expensive), and they all have the same decor as most chains do. We have similar over here in the UK, however, I think it is more expensive here.
Favorite Dish: Tortillas, I had never had these before (I lead a sheltered life :) ) but they were great, but very filling!
