Stockport is a large town and is situated about 10 miles south of Manchester, which lies in the North West of England.

Stockport is quite an old town, famous once for its cotton manufacturing and hatting industries. There were quite a few hatting mills in Stockport but alas the last mill was demolished last year. There is however now a hatting museum.

There is even a family owned brewery situated virtually in the centre of Stockport, and it has been in business for over 100 years.

There is very little indeed about Stockport on Vt - but it seems a nice enough town!

Great start--Stockport. I assume you're referring to Robbie's. I miss Robinson's very much, and it is a very good pint as long as the pub owners cleaned the lines and kept it fresh.
