"Relax in a friendly paradise" Kei Kecil by Daihappydai

I was in the Banda Islands talking to a traveller from Europe and said I intended to go to the Kei Islands after 10 days on Banda. He said 'Don't go there, there is nothing to do, and the people don't speak English.' I am so glad that I didn't take note of his advice. There is plenty to do in the Kei Islands. Number one is 'chill out' - you don't have to be active all the time. Then go for a walk - the scenery is amazing - chat to the locals, yes there isn't much English but what do you expect? Take a motorbike around Kei Kecil - a lot can be covered in a day - and visit villages and local sites. I had a great six days in Kei Kecil and will hopefully get a chance to go back and explore more of the Kei Islands
