I love you, St.Petersburg!!
December 2008
March 2011
My 2nd visit to St.Petersburg was in 2011, in March! This was a little trip to St.Petersburg where our friends live. Now I can really say that I am in love with this amazing city! So many places to see, so many things to do! Beautiful Russian people! We didn't have much time to see everything , BUT we saw as much as it was possible. And here are some advises by me. What to see, what to visit.
Here are some of MUST SEE and VISIT places in St.Petersburg which I saw or visit!
You can read more about them in my Tips:
- Palace Square ( in Rus. Dvortsovaja Plostsad ) includes:
* Winter Palace
* Hermitage Museum
* General Staff
* Admiralty
- Church of the Savior on Blood ( in Rus. Spas na Krovi )
- Saint Isaac's Cathedral
- Kazan Cathedral
- The Bronze Horseman, monument to Peter the Great
- Admiralty building
- Statue of Peter the Great ( in Peter and Paul Fortress )
- Cruiser Aurora
As regards stores , you can also check:
- Shopping mall ''Galeria'' (it's H U G E ! )
- Book's house ( in Rus. Dom knigi ) - one of the famous book's stores in St. Petersburg. A lot of books as in Russian as in other languages ( inc. Spanish, Italian, English etc. )
- Rive Gauche ( in Rus. Riv Gosh ) - shop huge of cosmetics and perfumes .
As regards eating places , here are some:
- Sushi bar ''Eurasia''
- Pyschetsnaja ( you can read about this lovely place in my Restaurants tip )
I am so happy that I have some good friends in Saint Petersburg, and I knwo, that if I wanted to go there, they are always helpful and friendly.
I think this is very important, to have a friends in different countries. Because you can stay at their houses, they can show you a lot of interesting and unusual places!
- Pros:Beautiful city and people, lots of interesting places,
- Cons:Too much people, huge queues.
