"austria july '10" Hallein by jlking

went to austria with sister-in-law (music teacher) & her husband to see the land of mozart & sound of music. spent 2 weeks. started in munich & did a little travel by car on our own. caught cruise boat in passau & cruised up & down the danube, all the way to vienna & back to passau. hadn't been in austria for about 20 years ! last time we went with 2 kids, about 7 & 10 years old @ xmas time. this was actually the first time (!??!?!?!) we'd been in europe in summer; we always travel off season to avoid crowds. but, truly, there were not really any crowds, even in vienna ! good trip for us; trip of a life time for sis-in-law !
