Bath Times!

I was in Bath in June 2006 where I had just an afternoon to explore the city and felt I didn't give the city justice. Since then, I always wanted to return to Bath but not had the opportunity until now. In June 2010, four years later, I spent a few days in the historic city and had an amazing time! I felt, finally, I gave the city the justice it deserved.

I took the opportunity to return to Bath in June 2012 when I spent the weekend in Bristol. I spent a couple of days exploring the city and it was nice to relax (enjoyed the free concerts in one of the parks and the Abbey) in the safe knowledge I've already had done the big city's (and expensive!) attractions. I've made my own personal discoveries such exploring the spa historic quarter and sites which I wouldn't think of visiting for the first or second time.

I definitely return to Bath in the not too distant future.

The view from Prior Park looks lovely! Great that you could return to see more of Bath. I have only visited once, on a daytrip from London, so I didn't see much of the city, but hope to retun one day.

Bath is such a beautiful city with lots of great architecture esp the wonderful bath Abbey. Again you found an economical place to stay. Well done.

I love Bath, especially the Georgian architecture and Jane Austen links. Would love to try the new spa one day! Prior Park looks lovely too.

Welcome to VirtualTourist! My older son and I stayed at the Bath YMCA when he was ten (he's 39 now). My son was in a Roman phase at the time, so we only looked at Roman things in Bath, not Georgian.
