Bradford is a city in West Yorkshire which is west of Leeds. Bradford played an important role in the 18th and 19th Century following the Industrial Revolution and the city was known as the 'Wool Capital of the World' during the 19th Century.
In the 20th Century the textile industry declined and caused a number of social issues in the city. However Bradford is an interesting city with a diverse culture which is reflected in their annual Mela, fascinating landmaks and architecture, National Media Museum and Lister Park and Cartwright Hall. The Alhambra Theatre offers an exciting programme of productions.
Bradford has one of the highest population of South Asians in the country including those originating from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. This accounts to almost a quarter of the city's population.
Bradford is undergoing regeneration and its districts are worthwhile exploring such as Saltaire, Bingley, Haworth and Ilkley.

I'd love to visit that industrial museum
