Omiya Park

Omiya Park is one of the most popular parks in metropolitan Saitama. The huge part of the park used to be the precinct of Hikawa Shrine where the name OMIYA originated. Omiya park is one of the popular places to visit when I was in Yokohama during my University days. Former Omiya city is also known as the town of horticulture.
