LAND OF THE BEAUTIFUL SAFE HARDER

Palawan gets its name from Pa -Lao- Yu, which is the heading of this chapter.
Palawan actually consists of 1,700 islands in the South East of the country, very close to Malaysia which can be reached by speedboat in an hour. With 1.5m hectares it is the country's largest province with the China Sea to the west and the Sulu Sea to the east. The coastline of the main island of Palawan stretches for over 2,000 kms, with beautiful bays, beaches and jungle and mountains in the center. Palawan does not normally experience typhoons except for the islands in the north. Palawan used to be connected to Borneo via a landbridge so there are animals here that cannot be found in other parts of the country.

well, i don't know. I don't believe that any of the dangers have affected me except for maybe a few sand fly bites. I should not let it put you off

I actually don't think there was a seafood festival this year, probably because we have a different mayor. I will update my page

More fine tips - especially to the south part of the island. When the road is finished to up north - the paving - and the airport at El Nido is expanded .... big changes. let alone the US Navy, though I also hear that Subic is possible to re-open?

Changed so much in 25 yrs, and yes, there are rumors about Subic

This sounds like a beautiful region except for the snakes, jellyfish, sandflies and stonefish. But it's good that you pointed out these dangers.
