Tudor area?

I was last in Mombasa April 2010.
I wonder, if the part of town called "Tudor" is just the promontory where Abdel Nasser Rd. plies through?
And/or is it, too, the area where there are the Rassini Rd. and Tom Mboya Rd., - that is North of Nyali Bridge?

Pros and Cons

Pros:Easygoing Cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Cons:Not enough sweepers around. Is it really that there is no place for swimming on the Island proper?
In a nutshell:A vibrant town with an interesting historical perspective.
