It sort of felt like home!?! Let me firstly point out that I am Australia. So this could explain why when I got off the plane in London and caught the mini van to the hotel and checked in and all that - I felt really comfortable and almost like I was at home! Weird hey!!? But London is one of those places that I guess you either love or hate, and I absolutely loved it. I would definately go back. It is so easy to get around on the tube, the areas we stayed in where really friendly and i really like English people. Maybe its from years of watching the BBC - Little Britain, The Bill, The Vicar of Dibley and Blackadder!! Not that I met anyone quite like any of theses characters, least not Vicky Pollard. Anyhow enough rubbish, London is a super place to visit and I don't care if they say Paris is prettier, London is friendlier and for me, that's tops! |
| | London is a very parky sort of place, nice wide open spaces. It cracked me up how there were green and white striped deck chairs everywhere!! We were very lucky with the weather, it was about 24-26 the three days we were there. No rain - what's going on!! |
