Coming from Australia, the thing that strikes you most about Europe, and especially Roma, is the amount of old stuff!!
The other thing you notice are the crowdes, no, hordes of people trying to look at it all!
Pick pockets, traffic, crowds, these things alone could get you down if you let it, and really eat away at you during your stay.
But you have to 'lift the veil' as one person put it, and see the real Roma. She does not give up her secrets easily! |
