Lots of Parks and Gardens This is the view from 4th floor of hotel in Brougham Place North Adelaide AS you can see, Adelaide is a city surrouded by parkland. This was a main feature at the time of design of the town. You will notice how well laid out the CBD is, very easy to navigate, as it is basically a square grid with four main streets on the outside, and you will never get lost. Adelaide is the capital city of South Australia, my state. It is a relatively small city, nothing like the grandness of Melbourne or Sydney. It is more like a big country town than a city. But if you are from the country and you aren't used to the metro life you will enjoy Adelaide for its laid back and unpretentious manner. |
