In October 1992, when I was 13, my family and I went up to Sydney for a short look. We drove from Mt Gambier to Melbourne, then up the East coast to Bega, Merimbula, Kiama and then to Sydney, and home again through Albury and inland. It was a memorable trip and my sister and I had lot of fun. |
I returned to Sydney in Jan 04 for one week, and it was great! This city is so vibrant, clean and above all, friendly - like Adelaide and made Melbourne look like a real snob city.
It is an extremely easy city to get around - you can chose from ferries, busses and trains. We stayed in Surry Hills with family which is classed as an inner city suburb - 5 mins on the bus to Circular Quay . Super stuff.
