Take a trip from Phuket to...

Take a trip from Phuket to Phang Nga Bay. Our tour was on Tour East, and they picked us up in the morning and took us home at night, a great, hassle free day of travel! Phang Nga Bay is a beautiful bay of limestone cliffs and rocks that jut out of the jade ocean, and you can take a long boat to James Bond Island. This is the main draw card as far as the tourism operators go, as they take you there on on the premise that you have seen The Man With the Golden Gun. This aparently was the secret hideout of the baddy - I don't know, I havn't seen it!

The Rose Garden, this is a...

The Rose Garden, this is a touristy park with not a rose in sight! We went here on the way to the Floating Markets. It is an hour or so out of Bangkok. We had an excellent lunch meal here, did some shooting in the shooting gallery, saw lots of birds in cages, and saw an excellent Thai cultural show which featured a wedding, kick boxing and much, much more. Also have an elephant show. Worth a look if you are in the area, and have the time.
Lcoation: Km. 32, Petkasem Highway, Sampran, Nakorn Pathom, Thailand.

This is Nakon Pathom's chedie,...

This is Nakon Pathom's chedie, the tallest Buddist monument in the world!! It is located 67kms to the west of Bangkok. This is one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Thailand. It was built originally between the 2nd century BC and 5th century AD, celebrating the first arrival of Buddist missionaries from India. It is huge!!!
