Miscellaneous: Where ever you go in the world, I would highly recommend keeping a 'travel journal' whilst you are on your holiday. I found it to be very handy when recalling specific events on your travels, especially a few years later when hunting down info for VT.
This travel journal was given to me for my 21st birthday, a week before I left for Thailand. I also stuck a lot of receipts and little bits and pieces from the trip in here.
