KYOTO is located in the western part of Japan. It is one of the great ancient capitals. It takes about an hour from Kobe where I live. So, it is my favorite day trip destination always!!! There are many old temples and shrines, which house many artistic treasures and have beautiful Japanese-style gardens. Kyoto shows various kinds of charm depend on the season. I hope I can show you simple but elegant beauty of it here.

In 2007, I am attending a class to visit gardens in Kyoto and know much about Japanese traditional gardens knowing the philosophy of gardner or garden owners. According to my teacher, it reflect the value of time when the garden created. Pleaes visit my traveloge on Kyoto as well!!!!!!!!! |
