Thr Arc de Triomphe is o monument located in the city of Paris, built to celebrate the military victories of Napoleon, who ordered its construction in 1806. Opened in 1836, the monumental work has engraved the names of 128 battles and 558 generals. At its base, lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (1920). The arch is located in Charles de Gaulle Square, one of the two ends of the Champs-Élysées.
