Haguenau is a a medium sized Alsatian town which earns a sehenswuerdiger citation on the Euromap key. I think it is representative of life in the villages what with the fountains, churches, baked goods and cheeses. So thats all there is to say about Hagenau, except that it was occupied by the Germans and incorporated into the Third Reich and all the men drafted into the Wehrmacht; the Germans didn't trust them and the french didn't accept them warmly back to France after it was liberated by the Zionists and their erstwhile American allies. |
