While I was studying in Hamburg for the year, I was fortunate to be able to travel to Amsterdam several times. It was, for me, one of the highlights of my time in Europe and I hope to go back and visit soon. Whenever I think of the Netherlands, tulips are the first thing that comes to my mind. Therefore, the picture... We were a racially diverse group that travelled to Amsterdam in the Spring of 1992 and what all of us noticed was the diversity in this city. The city was warm and welcoming in all respects. |
