A New Beginning!

It has been years since I was on this site and building pages. Since then, the demands of family and work have consumed me and my lifetime love of travel took a backseat. NO MORE!

Perhaps my travels will not be as plentiful (or as exciting), but it's been too long...

The First VT Version of Myself!

I grew up in NYC pretty much my entire life and when I was finally allowed to go to the public library on my own, I happened to pick up a travel guide to Europe. Filled with photos of beautiful buildings and gardens, my young mind was hooked. As a Korean American, Asian culture was too familiar (was a rebellious almost-teen at the time), but these castles and towers were cool...(hah, was also into my Euro music phase which helped in my newfound interest)

Since the "awakening" I have been obsessed with traveling. Tastes change, styles change, my "it" places change, but one thing that's constant is my thirst for new experiences. The guidebooks are pretty good for history and places to stay, so excuse me if I offer you a little bit of me instead. Personal thoughts, impressions, and the education of Lisa is what I offer all of you. The photos and text are my own with the exception of photos taken by friends along the way.

I won't tell you my favorite places, the favorite place is the last place I visited. And oddly enough, it changes everytime I go on a new trip! Hope you enjoy my pages and if you ever have any questions about any place I've been, don't hesitate to contact me.

I will be completely honest and admit that although I will try and one day complete my existing pages that are continually under construction, the likelihood of that really happening is very slim...please enjoy what I do have up there...
