Apple Festival Home

Ellijay is home to quite a few apple orchards and October is when they hold the Annual Apple Festival there at the fairgrounds. Ellijay sits at the foothills of the Appalations and enjoys a clean, crisp atmosphere around this time, in late October. Check out the apple orchards mainly on "Apple Row" the highway running out of town to the north.
We stopped at R and A orchard for our Rome Beauty apples and some Arkansaw Blacks.
