Taking advantage of deals!

Through Budget Travel Magazine, I got a deal with all flights and a 5 night stay in Prague for less than $1000 US. February would not have been my normal choice, but hey---one takes what one gets at times. This time, Delta came through well, even though the flight coming home was cancelled----they switched me to an Air France flight home via Paris CDG.
Found many Praguians very happy to speak with an American tourist---
I had met a young girl on the internet who asked me to bring her something from USA that she could not get in CR, and in exchange she showed me around a little--a free tour guide! Always helps to have a local friend in a new place. I really want to go back in the summer----I hear the island in the middle of the Vltava is hopping in the warm summer days!

Glad you got a good deal on Prague and enjoyed your visit. I was there in April and had a fine time. I missed the Alphonse Mucha Museum, though. (Should have read your tips beforehand.)
