<font color="blue">Arrived to Cairo from Athens, Greece with Egyptair (three hour flight). An incredible landscape of humanity, <font color="red">The Megalopolis of CAIRO, <font color="blue">over sixteen million souls called it home.
Extremely chaotic, yet enchanting. Took the journey to Aswan by train on a 2nd class car, because the 1st class cars were all taken. This was an over 12 hours journey, very tiring and streneous. I was unable to sleep, arrived in Aswan at around 10 AM. I was met by a "con artist" ready to get some Egyptian pounds out of me. Sharp fellow name Omar, tried to charge me 100 Egyptian pounds for the "Sound and Light Show" at the Karnak Temple, in Luxor. I was not even there yet!, neither was him! in actuality the regular price is 33 Egyptian pounds! I was able to get my money back, by complaining to his manager. This country is FABULOUS! do not let small things like this, spoil your trip though. You will be rewarded with memories that will last you a lifetime.
