Calling all choccie lovers

CADBURY WORLD operates tours through the factory AND SEE ONE TON OF LIQUID CHOCOLATE FALL LIKE A WATERFALL .....AMAZING!!
We took a tour through this factory and you can see how much milk goes into making chocolate daily, 65,000 litres of milk everyday for chocolate production a this Dunedin plant alone. There are 10,000 Crunchie bars produced each hour!
How about this fact ...a Cadbury Moro Bar is eaten every 2 seconds!
The tours are given each half hour and cost $14 per adult and each person receives a wee bag full of choccies!!

Pre Raphaelite Dream

The Pre Raephalite Exhibition is on in Dunedin's Public Art Gallery till 15 February 2004
We visitied this exquisite display and thoroughly enjoyed the display from the Tate Collection.
The 70 watercolours, oils, drawings and prints were unequaled. Intriguing stoires as well as the vibrant colours made these masterpieces an unforgettable experience for us to see.
The Pre Raephaelites rebelled against the socail conventions of that time and were inspired by artists like Dante Gabriel Rossetti.

Octagon of Dunedin - Dunedin

Octagon of Dunedin

Octagon

Many cities have a square to signify the middle of town, but Dunedin has an octagon (eight-sided centrepiece). The statue of Robert Burns overlooks the Octagon in the centre of Dunedin, which is both the heart of the city and a great meeting place.
The Municipal chambers, St Paul's Cathedral, the Dunedin Public Art Gallery and Regent Theatre surround the Octagon, along with a number of cafes, bars and restaurants, many with outdoor seating and live music or performance. The Octagon is actually a double octagon - Moray Place behind it is also eight-sided
