A hamlet that has died

Much of Crossway Green has now disappeared. The non-conformist chapel closed in the 1960's, the post office and garden nursery closed in the early 1970's. The pub now serves the high speed passing motor trade and is no longer a local pub. The little church remains serving the few residents remaining
