"City Full of History" York by Galahad
York Travel Guide: 1,617 reviews and 3,908 photos
There is much in York for most interests - architecture, Roman History, Viking History, Ecclesiastical or Church History, Railway History and for me 19th Century History. I came to York for a few days to study in the National Railway Museum Archives. On this particular trip (I have been 3 or 4 times before) to look at the faith and doubts of railway men in the 19th Century, but you cannot come to York without looking at the magificent city centre within the City Walls themselves.

nice pictures, i have been in your city Northampton. lovely restaurants
Excellent stuff, shame more people don't view your quality pages.
Interesting tips! I once went to the National Railway Museum in York, but never knew who George Hudson was. The comparison with the 1990s dot.com bust is apt. I wonder what booms and busts the 21st century will bring.
Great start - not Treasurer's house though, but St William's College :)
Looks good..nice photo!!
