"Mountains * History * Art" Escazù by sarahsanantonio
Escazù Travel Guide: 10 reviews and 16 photos
Escazú is a pretty mountain town outside San José, and a good place to stay before you take off to the jungle or the beach. It’s usually about 72 degrees most of the year, with wonderful views of the mountains, and has 500 years of history. It’s a beautiful place to live – I’ve lived here for over 20 years.
Most people just see the San Rafael de Escazu, the modern, urban section closest to San Jose, but if you go a little further south towards San Antonio de Escazu it becomes beautiful, mountainous and rural very quickly.
- Pros:Great weather, beautiful mountains, close to airport and city
- In a nutshell:Mountains * History * Art
