The main city of Aveyron is not really attractive, we visited this town last sunday of august 2009, all was closed and the city was given off a saddly impression.
32 kms north of Rodez, situated on gr 65 one of the main roads of the famous pilmgrimage to"ST JACQUES DE COMPOSTELLE", Espalion is a nice and quiet little town.
This town is now well-known for the bridge, actually the highest in the world with 342 meters.
