Medan is the 3rd largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya. This trip I have concentrated solely in Medan City and have not gone out to places like Lake Toba, Parapat and Dairy which are wort going as well. It is mainly good for shopping in Medan and visiting of historical sights and places of worship. Medan is the only city in Indonesia where South Indian Style Hinduism is practiced.
