Outside dinning - New York City

Outside dinning

Telephone Bar & Grille: Cozy and relaxing place for some food and drinks Telephone Bar & Grille Review

This is a good bar/pub here in the Village which offers meals as well. I have never eaten here, but I do enjoy the laid back atmosphere and all the Anglophiles enjoying their favorite drinks.

The main dinning/drinking area is quite large with the dinning tables to your left as you enter and a large communal table in the center in front of the bar.

There is a very cozy back seating area with tables, couches, a fireplace and mirrors all over the wall for a more personal or romantic evening.

The few times I've been here I have ordered their hoegaarten.

Wednesday nights just got hotter - New York City
Bvld: Wednesday nights just got hotter

Boulevard is yet another place to party with the Latin Flare. On Wednesdays ""Al B Productions"" promotes what he calls "El que sabe, sabe" He who knows, knows. And its definitely a place for those in the know go.

The D.J. mixes a blend of disco music from the 80's, freestyle from the 90's, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and of course Reagatton!!

Don't forget to hang out at the VIP Lounge, you'll love the "Dancer Poles" and the excellent service from the the lovely "waitresses"

Wine Bar: Wine Tasting Wine Bar Review

Cute place (use to be the old OVO) with some excellent wine. They usually have wine tastings that you can sign up for which they pair with some excellent appetizers.

I've been here a few times and the last time I was here we attended the wine tasting. The wines were quite good.

My new favorite bar-Huge selection of Belgium beer - New York City
BXL East: My new favorite bar-Huge selection of Belgium beer BXL East Review

I've died and gone to Belgium Beer Heaven!!! Ever since I was first introduced to Belgium Beer while traveling in Belgium, I have had a love affair with their beer! It is the only beer (other than a Blue Moon) that I will drink.

BXL East is one of the best places in NYC to grab your favorite Belgium Beer. This location (they have another on 43rd Street) is a nice size. As you enter the bar will be on your left. There are bar tables to the right as well as a smallish dining area in the back. The place isn't big, but the atmosphere is. They have tv's over the bar and at any given time there is some sort of soccer match going on.

The walls are dark with old sinages of Belgium Beers everywhere.

When I'm here with Ferni we like to sit at the bar, when I'm here with friends, we'll usually grab one of the bar tables.

On to the beers. They have a huge selection of Belgium Beers as well as wine. This location does not have a "hard" liquor license, so you are here for the beer (or wine).

I love that they have my two favorite Belgium Beers, Leffe Blonde and Triple Carmeliet, both on tap or bottle.

During our last visit here Ferni and I also decided to grab a quick bite to eat before heading home. We decided on an order of the calamari and fries. Yum!

The service is quite good and prices decent.
