Other Churches: Trinity Church
  • Tip Rating:
  • A 19th century Romanesque-style church, Trinity Church is truly a beautiful site. The interior along with the exterior stained glass windows are just stunning along with murals which are designed by John La Farge.

To the left of the Church you will find the Hancock Tower who's architecture was I.M. Pei.

The Church is located at Copley Square across from the Boston Public Libraray and other outstanding architectures.

  • Boston Maparium / Christian Science Center
  • The beautiful building

  • One of the things that strikes me about Boston is its unique architecture and one of the most impressive buildings I have seen in Boston has to the the "The Mother Church" located at the Christian Science Plaza. The world headquarters for the First Church of Christ. The Church was founded in 1879 and publishes the Christian Science Monitor.

Take a stroll inside and view its beauty, also pay a visit to the Mapparium, an enclosed globe shaped room with stained glass windows.

Also located in the Science Plaza is the reflecting pool who's architecture was none other than I.M. Pei.

    Boston Public Garden: Beautiful Garden
  • Tip Rating:
  • The Boston Gardens is a haven for the city life with its many fountains and gardens. If you find yourself in the gardens on a beautiful spring or summer day you will most definitely see the famous "Swan Boats" located in the lagoon. The sculpture of "Make way for Ducklings" is also located in the garden. According to what I've been told, you will find the world's smallest suspension bridge here as well.

Beacon Hill & Charles Street: Residential Street
  • Tip Rating:
  • With some of the most beautiful row homes in all of Boston, I am sure this is the vision you have when you think of Boston (it should be anyway).

Beacon Hill is loaded with quaint little shops and some fantastic restaurants. You can also find fruit and vegtable stands and many specialty shops.

Wander around on a beautiful Sunday and find yourself by Boston Gardens.

  • The most fashionable street in all of Boston, this beautiful street lined with Brownstones and shops on the ground level is definitely a place where you should find yourself during your visit to Boston.

A very trendy street with high end shopping and dinning, you're sure to find everything and anything you little heart desires with stores like Armani, Gucci, why would you want to be anywhere else???

You can also just take a stroll, stop in at one of the many cafes and bars and just people watch.

    Cemeteries: Old Granary Burying Ground
  • Tip Rating:
  • The Granary dating back to the 1660's is the city's second oldest cemetary. It contains the remains of many Revolutionary heroes. Here you'll find the graves of John Hancock, Samuel Adams, Thomas Paine, and of course the gravesite of Paul Revere. Benjamin Franklin's parents are buried here and so is Mother Goose!!!

  • Boston New England Aquarium
  • Entrance to the Aquarium
  • by Gypsystravels

  • Located right on the waterfront the New England Aquarium is a great place to spend a few hours with the large selection of sea creatures. There are three floors to explore and in the middle of the aquarium as you enter the main building is the Giant Ocean Tank a 23ft deep, 200,000 gallon artificial reef. It is lined with windows so you can take a glance into its depths.

The Aquarium has over 50 species of sea creatures. There are a few presentations and even a an IMAX theater.
