During one of my earlier returns to Boston for a vt meeting we stayed here the first night. This hotel is centrally located and quite nice. The rooms are kept quite cold and looking for the thermostat was an adventure. I actually prefer to have my room a bit chilled as I can wrap myself in with the nice comforters. I really don't enjoy a stuffy room. Because this was a Hot Wire stay, we weren't able to get the room type we are so use to getting. We had two double beds which made us laugh because we had to put the beds together all night long just to keep them from separating as we slept. Overall the hotel was a great deal and I loved the great lobby with its two lounges.
Unique Qualities: A Hot Wire find, the hotel did not have any Queen or King rooms availble upon our check in this particular weekend so we were stuck with a double room. We did save 40% off the going rate, which is quite nice for a centrally located hotel. The prices range from $229-$450 per night, we paid around $140. The beds were nice and comfy with nice down comforters to keep us warm as the room was quite chilly. Self parking per night is $26, Valet parking per night is $36

I've stayed at this hotel a few times, most recently during my August 2006visit to Boston. I always enjoy my stay here with its 156 square feet of space and scenic views of the Charles River this all suite hotel is exactly what I want in a hotel. Make sure to get their famous chocolate-chip cookies at check-in. There is a charge for parking, self park is $20 per night, valet is $27 per night, a data port is available for internet access, and a newspaper will be delivered to your door daily. There is a fee for interent service. Pets are allowed with a $250 deposit and you must call ahead to reserve the suite. Cookie was right at home here during one of my earlier trips. A Shuttle service is provided free of charge to downtown Boston and Harvard Square.
Unique Qualities: Exceptional views of the Charles River, just minutes from I-90.

We stayed at this hotel during a visit for a Vt meeting with a cast of other vt'rs. We weren't planning on staying another night in Boston as we had only reserved a one night stay at the Hyatt but Yubert twisted our arms and offered us to bunk with him at this lovely hotel. The hotel was fantastic, centrally located with a bar and restaurant in the main lobby. He got this fantastic hotel through Hot Wire for a whopping $89 a night for a double. To top off the great rate, we were lucky and have a room on the 25th floor (hotel has 26 floors) with fantastic views.
Unique Qualities: The room was equipped with two double beds, an ergonomic desk and internet capability. All the amenities you come to expect from Hilton in the Historic Back Bay area. Parking comes at a high price, self parking is $34 per night, valet parking is $38 per night.

This is a fantastic hotel, just miles from downtown Boston. It is an inexpensive hotel for those looking for more in a hotel at the least possible rate. The room is a suite and as a Hilton Honors member we usually get the upgrade to an 8th floor corner room. The hotel itself is quite nice with a large lobby and reception area. The last time I was here a birthday celebration was going. The beds are quite nice and comfy with a basic decor. One of the best things about the hotel is that it is quite inexpensive compared to some of the other area hotels. We usually pay around $99+ tax, parking is included which is an added benefit.
Unique Qualities: As a Hiton Honers Gold or Diamond member there is a complimentary Sunday breakfast buffet which you must remind them at check-in so they can give you the vouchers. With a huge selection of breakfast items, you really can't go wrong. I usually order an egg white omelet with plenty of coffee, juice and fruit. It really is a great bargain in the Boston area and only about 2 miles from the city center.
