|  | Miami with my Ferni Finally getting to Miami Beach with my sweetie was exactly what we needed. We had both been there before, although my last experience in Miami Beach was less than memorable, so it was time to get back.
The first 6 months of 2008 had been plagued with family deaths, cancer diagnosis and other family emergencies and we had cancelled a much needed vacation to Italy, so when things settled down we both knew that a few days away from NYC was exactly what we needed. We didn't want to be more than 3 hours away because of personal reasons and a special invitaton to stay at one of the most beautiful and happening hotels in Miami Beach helped us decide exactly where we were going.
We definitely made the right decision. I've never enjoyed Miami Beach as much as I did with my babe!! It was great to finally enjoy the wonderful weather, great food, lounging at the pool and a day with some really good friends.
