The start of our European Trip On Christmas day 2003 we began what would be our European Trip to a few cities in and around the Netherlands. Sandra (Mique here on vt) invited me, Chris (CJG1), Cecile (Ceswho) and Patrick (VirtualPatrick) to spend some time with her and her family. We started our trip with a few days in Den Haag before heading to France to spend New Years eve with her parents who graciously hosted us in their Gaite.
We explored some "off the beaten path" towns in Aquitaine like St. Ferme, La Reole, Duras to name a few. We also visited St. Emilion, the wonderful wine producing town as well as Bordeaux.
On our return we ventured to towns in The Neterlands as well as a day trip to Brugge. We spent our last day exploring a little more of Den Haag. |

ATLC Wed Feb 20, 2008 14:32 UTC hi there. I read about your loss which is too terrible to understand. Glad you enjoyed your stay with Mique. I met her recently with her baby son. Take care and hope you will find strength. |
