I had planned on staying at a different hotel but there was no availability during my stay. I did quite a bit of research as I wanted a location that was centrally located, near the Danube and close to many of the city attractions. This hotel was right around Vaci street on a little secluded street. The front desk was so helpful. The hotel seemed to be at capacity during my visit but it did not take away from the great service and cozy atmosphere. Buffet breakfast daily is included in the price. The spread was quite nice with assorted breads, cheeses and meats, cereals fruits, coffee and assorted drinks.

I choose this hotel for its proximity to the Castle District and because it is located right along the Danube on the Buda side. The rooms are decent with a decent bed. Nothing fantastic other than its location.

SpagBoll Mon Sep 14, 2009 15:46 UTC Nice Budapest pages. I was sorry to read of your loss. Happy travels. | diligaf Wed Sep 2, 2009 18:08 UTC I would love the name of a store in Budapest where I can find "authentic" Hungarian clothes...not the stuff I can find anywhere. Thanks. | illumina Thu Jul 16, 2009 01:36 UTC Very sorry for your loss, so awful to be so far from home at the time. You have a wonderful page here. | mvtouring Tue Jul 14, 2009 12:04 UTC It is sad when we lose loved ones and even worse when we are in foreign countries. I was in Singapore when my father passed on. Still you managed to write lovely tips ;-) |
