During my visit to London with Mom and Kris we stopped here at the Virgin Megastore to peruse and see if we could find something for Kris.

The store is quite large and sells the usual music items as well as videos, cd's, and accessories.

What to buy: Kris picked up a cd to add to her collection, can't remember which cd she bought, but she was happy.

What to pay: A bit more than average.

Clothes: Oxford Street Clothes and Shoes Review

On my very first trip to London we were staying for a few days and then moving north to a wedding and then a few days at Mark's house. Mark needed to find a shirt for his suit and we decided to do some shopping on Oxford Street.

I love shopping on Oxford Street, every store imaginable can be found here. I stopped in at one of the local women's shop and picked up a cute blouse.

Mark found his shirt at a men's shop, not sure the man of the store, but there are so many, that you are sure to find what you are looking for at Oxford Street.

What to buy: Men's clothing, shoes, women's clothing, shoes, accessories!

What to pay: About average

Department stores: Harrod's Harrods Review

Touted as the best and largest store in the world, Harrod's isn’t your basic department store. It is quite overpriced, and overcrowded no matter when you visit. Its more of a tourist attraction in itself and deserves a few hours of perusing. My favorite departments are the food courts, the beauty and accessory department, the pet shop and the travel departments as well as the Arcade with its signature teddies, bags, and other items.

I always make it a point to stop by and pick up a few things especially some of their signature bags which I love to give as presents (I have a few myself). Their food courts are amazing, just browsing their different departments of delicious goodies like their seafood department or their cheese department.

I love browsing their accessories department as I have found some really unique although pricey costume jewelry.

What to buy: During my most recent trip I purchased a few of the signature bags for some friends, Harrod’s teddy for my grandson and some Harrod’s Tea for a co-worker.

What to pay: Expensive
