Street Cart
Walking around we happened upon this cart which was selling all sorts of meat pies, I was curios, but since I had given up all sorts of meats for lent we decided to skip the meat pies and just grab a drink.
I did notice that the cart looked clean and the food selection looked good. The smell of the pies was quite heavenly, but no meat pies for us. Maybe next time.

Dixon Restaurant
We were leisurely exploring Chinatown when we became a bit hungry and decided to grab some lunch.
We stumbled upon this place and decided to try it as there were plenty of people outside enjoying their meals. They had a really good prixe fix lunch menu and the choices looked quite yummy.
We sat outside and enjoyed some people watching and a few beers during our lunch. The atmosphere was quite nice and relaxing.
Favorite Dish: The prixe fix menu for AUS $12 was a fantastic price. The price included soup and spring rolls with the main course. I had the chicken with cashews and my travel partner had the chicken with vegatables. Rice was also included witht he meal which was served in a steaming rice cooker.

Enjoying my Spatan
After walking around the Rocks we needed some refreshments, more like a beer so we decided to stop here. According to many sources The Löwenbräu Keller is Sydney's best known, most authentic German restaurant so expect to find German dishes and beers.
As we were having dinner in another location, we decided to skip on the food and have a few glasses of Spatan, a nice crisp German beer.
There are some family style benches and tables located outside of the restaurant. We decided we wanted to enjoy some people watching with our beers and sat outside.
They offer Bavarian cooking with traditional dishes and beers in a typical Bavarian atmosphere.
Favorite Dish: We each had a Spatan which was on the pricey side. Note that because of its popularity the prices are on the overpriced side.

Enjoining a Mojito before lunch
Our last afternoon in Sydney we decided to do something different for lunch and splurge a bit. We asked the concierge about a local restaurant with views and he recommened this place.
The resatuarant is quite beautiful. It is located in a high rise business building. We were treated with 360 views of the city of Sydney as well as exceptionally good food. The restaurant is on a circular platform that rotates around the building giving you a different view as it takes about an hour to fully rotate.
Doug (aussiedoug) was meeting up with us then taking us to the airport so we invited him to join us for lunch. This is an upscale restaurant, so expect to pay for it!
Favorite Dish: We each ordered the 1 course lunch. I believe I had the ocean trout and I know that the other members of our party ordered the beef filet and the chicken.
The trout was excellent. Along with the lunch order we ordered a sour loaf which came with an assortment of hummus and different sauces for dipping.
I had a Mojito with my lunch which was quite good. Meals are not cheap.

Inside the dinning area at the Hard Rock
Okay, don't get me wrong here, I would say that the food here is like any other Hard Rock Cafe in the world regarding food. What makes them distintive is the decor.
My reason for visiting any given Hard Rock Cafe is probably for a quick drink and to visit the shop to purchase my daughter her obligatory Hard Rock tee.
Favorite Dish: Don't really have one, but I have had the sizzling fajitas which are very good.
