Name of Shop: Galeries Lafayette

This is such a wonderful place to shop, especially during the Christmas holiday season. Galeries Lafayette is a department store that sells everything you could possibly want. From jewelry and accesories, handbags, shoes, women and men's designer clothing, children's clothing, home and house goods, furnishings and anything else you could imagine.

If you happen to be in Paris right before Christmas you'll get to enjoy all the wonderful holiday lights that decorate the store inside and out.

What To Buy: Anything, I have purchased some scarves, a hat and some socks (lol)

What To Pay: Anywhere from inexpensive to expensive

Name of Shop: Le Forum des Halles

A collection of many stores in a "shopping" center, the Forum is a great place to shop. I like their clothing and shoe stores and their specialty shops. I found myself here one year looking for a "duffle" bag to carry back home some purchases that didn't fit in my luggage.

What To Buy: It's a shopping center and they have all kinds of stores like clothing, shoe, electronics, specialty shops.

I purchases an inexpensive duffle bag to store my purchases that didn't fit in my luggage.

What To Pay: Every reasonable.

Name of Shop: SEPHORA

Sephora is a very special place in Paris for me for the simple reason that I always found myself here to purchase my mother a perfume unique to Paris.

Back in the late 1990's Sephora was just starting and Paris was their flagship store. I had never seen a Sephora in the states and of course since early 2000 you can find a Sephora in just about every major city in the states, and of course worldwide.

I love their cosmetics, you can find just about every make available at department stores. Their perfume section is wonderful and here in Paris you can find scents made by Guerlain and others that are only marketed in Paris.

There is so much energy in the stores and they are always crowded.

What To Buy: While in Paris I always find a Guerlain scent only marketed in Paris (my duaghter's favorite) and something special for my mom.

I buy anything from designer lip gloss, eyeliner or scented powder.

What To Pay: Mid range to expensive.

Name of Shop: Champs Elysées

There are a few trendy shops along the Champs Elysees that sells men and women clothing. The stores are always packed and you can definitely find some really things to wear. I usually will go into one of these stores to pick up something different and unique for Kristara.

What To Buy: Trendy tops, blouses, t-shirts, sweaters, belts.

What To Pay: Very cheap considering you are shopping on the Champs Elysees

Name of Shop: Printemps

Similar to Galeries Lafayette, Printemps is a great place to find just about anything. It's multi-storied shopping complex which carries aproximately the same types of items Galeries Lafayette does.

There are a few locations throughout Paris and they have fashions for men, women, children and they also carry a wide range of housewares, jewelry and accessories.
There is also a restaurant on the sixth floor called Cafe Flo.

What To Buy: Just about anything can be purchased here but I usually like to check out their uinque women's clothing and their women's lingerie department.

Check out Cafe Flo located on the 6th floor.

What To Pay: Prices are about average
