J'adore Paris

Seeing Paris My Way

I just love Paris
I never imagined that when I first set foot on French soil, that I would return as often as I have.

Paris for me is no longer just a travel destination. It's more like returning home after a long absence.

So, come along with me as I travel home again and again..

Paris is the city I've traveled to more times than any other city in Europe.

My latest trip to Paris was for a business trip in May 2008 which didn't give me much time to explore my beautiful Paris, but it allowed me to meet up with friends, enjoy great food and hang out at our favorite clubs!

In November 2004, the IPG's were in town to help celebrate moi's big 4-0!! Yeah, hard to believe it, but 40 was approaching and I wanted to celebrate it in the city I love so much.

Paris Bells

Past the café shutters down,
No one stirs in the town.
The morning after the rain
The barges move on the Seine.
Down the avenue lined with trees
Paris bells ring on the breeze
Paris bells ring on the breeze.
Dawn is breaking, birds start to sing,
Sun is rising, warms everything.
The echo of footsteps on a cobbled street,
Dim alleyways where the shadows meet.
Down the avenue lined with trees
Paris bells ring on the breeze
Paris bells ring on the breeze.
The places where we used to visit,
The chapel where we went to wed.
Paris bells on the breeze
Often stir memories.
We both knew the morning rain
We both wandered down the Seine.
Now you're gone away from me
You're just a memory
Like the bells ring on the breeze,
Paris bells ring on the breeze.

Lyrics: Faithfull Marianne

Enjoying a beautiful day in the City

Paris and what she means to me

Thinking back now there is more than just one reason why I love Paris so much.

On my very first visit out of the US, I travelled alone. Not knowing anything other than the research I had done on this glorious city, I was pleasantly surprised what was in store for me. Paris scared me and inspired me, made me fall in love and help me appreciate the little things in life. I've been in love with Paris ever since that very first vist.

I return to Paris as often as I can because it makes me feel welcomed. I've learned to enjoy and appreciate history, art, architecture and just living while in this city. Paris will forever be very special to me. I've just recently returned from a quick 1 day stay.

The sites and sounds of Paris

I just love exploring this city, and at every turn and every trip I discover something new. I've re-visited some old places and have made it a point to visit new ones as well. There is just so much to see and do in this city.

Part of the charm of Paris for me is doing as the locals do, and as such I have visited many local restaurants and haunts. I'll try to include these in my tips, but would rather keep most of them as "untourist" as possible. If anyone is looking for a great restaurant, off the "tourist" track, please email me and I will be happy to assist. !!

Just found your pages. Great stuff on Paris. We've just started posting our pictures of Paris and Versailles from last October. Can't wait to get back. Hopefully I'll have some videos with music soon.
