We came to Buenos Aires the first time to celebrate my birthday. It was a last minute decision to come to Buenos Aires and I'm happy that we decided to celebrate it here.
P.S. I've been nominated for a Barney and have decided to honor that nomination by cleaning up, editing and finishing up my Buenos Aires pages. Thank you to the person or persons who thought that my Buenos Aires pages deserved recognition :)
My story with Buenos Aires started back in 2004 when I had planned to travel here with my then boyfriend. Sadly, we spent three consecutive years with confirmed tickets and plans to visit together, which never happened. At one point I thought that it just wasn't meant for me to see Buenos Aires, but I was wrong. It just simply wasn't the right time or the right person because I did finally set foot in Buenos Aires and it was with exactly the person I was meant to see it with and at the time it was meant to happen!!
My travels with my sister have become a yearly tradition. As adults our first trip together happened when we both went to Thailand with our mother. We had such a great time and since then vowed we would try to squeeze some sister time every year whenever possible.
Buenos Aires had been a place she wanted to see and I promised her we would make the trip there together. We had a fantastic time together enjoying each other's company without a care in the world. We enjoyed great food, wines, shopping...of course shopping...seeing some sights and just relaxing...
