About one and a half year ago I was in South Africa. This country has made a big impression because its diversity. Though Apartheid is ebolished over 10 years ago there is still an enormous gap between black and white.
The nature is beautiful...just like you imagen like it would be in Africa. I could have spend weeks in for example The Kruger Park when every time we saw an animal...we usually only saw in Zoo's...appeared near us. Furtermore, we visited big cities as Pretoria and Durban but usually we wanted to experience the wilderness, nature and inlands of this beautiful country.
South Africa has many different cultures. There live about 45 milion people in this country of who just 5 milion is white. The main cultures are the different black cultures (e.g.Zulu) Afrikaaners (in general seen as Dutch descendents), English and Indian. There are 11 official languages - the most common in the Cape are English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. The others are: Ndebele, Northern Sotho, Southern Sotho, Swati, Tsonga, Tswana, Venda, and Zulu.
