A NICE PART OF AUSTRALIA

I received a phone-call asking if I would like to come to Springbrook for a picnic on a Sunday. Well, as I hadn't been here for quite awhile, I said yes, that we would come.

The drive there was scenic, more so because the paddock's were so green after so much rain. When we arrived, to our amazement, there weren't many people there, usually it is packed on a Sunday.
This was good for us, as we managed to find a table and BBQ all to ourselves.

Quite close by, was a bush Turkey scratching around, the kids loved seeing him.

After a BBQ lunch, then it was time to do the walk to Natural Arch.

As there had been heavy rain previously, the water was flowing really fast down the hole and under the Arch.

We all had a good time, and since our last visit, the walking tracks have been upgraded and you can even get under the Arch, something we couldn't do before.
