    • I'm afraid I cannot offer any recommendations as for the week I was in Tokyo, I stayed with friends who were expats living in Tokyo. They were actually living in a company 'house' which was most unusual given the restricted space and cost of land in Tokyo.

    The house was lovely, set in some very nice gardens raised up off street level. Unfortunately a few years later with the land prices soaring, the house was demolished to make way for apartments and my friends moved then into a new company apartment..

     Sadly I only spent 2 and a half hours in Tokyo, and they were spent in transit at Narita en-route from Soul back to HK. You always have good tips and pics. Tim.
