    • Tijuana has many great restaurants but as many cities, the better ones are away from the popular and tourist area. Mexicans main meal is at lunch time which is usually eaten later so to avoid a wait, eat early. Legend has it Tijuana is birthplace of both the ever-famous Margarita and the Caesar salad. There is of course a Hard Rock Cafe which is better known as the 'Border of Rock 'n' Roll'. It's located in Tijuana's tourist zone on Ave Revolucion.

     When I lived in San Diego my friends and I used to go to Tijuana quite often for the nightlife. Can't beat good Mexican beer!
